Eid al-Fitr Message 2018

As the holy month of Ramadan comes to a close, I extend my warmest wishes to Australian Muslims and hope you have a blessed and joyful Eid al-Fitr holiday.
Ramadan is a month of fasting, reflection, spiritual renewal and service to the less fortunate. This month sees many charitable works by Australian Muslims raising money for those in need, and breaking the fast with people of all faiths - and of none.
Eid is a reminder of the strength of our religious diversity and the importance of respecting Australians of all faiths and beliefs.
