Australian Organisations in Thailand

Australia-Thailand Institute

The Australia–Thailand Institute (ATI) was established in 2005 to promote bilateral
relations with Thailand and to expand institutional and people-to-people links. The ATI is funded by Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade (DFAT) and managed by a Secretariat located within DFAT in Canberra.

The Australia–Thailand Institute supports and initiates activities consistent with its goals, on the basis of a strategic plan and priorities set annually by the Advisory Board.

Wherever possible, the ATI seeks to expand people-to-people and institutional links through programs, partnerships with other organisations and seed funding of
projects to enable them to grow.

The Institute seeks to target the next generation of leaders in both countries across a broad spectrum of backgrounds from the arts and business, cultural and community groups.
