Media Officer
A position has become vacant in the Political & Economic Section for a suitably qualified Media Officer.
Selection Criteria:
Skills/attributes required for this position are set out in the Selection Criteria below:
1. Excellent oral and written communication skills in English and Thai
2. Experience in public relations
3. Experience in liaising with the media
4. Knowledge of Australia highly desirable
5. Demonstrated competence in the use of the Microsoft suite of software products, including Microsoft Word, Excel and Access
6. Ability to work under pressure and to deadlines
7. Demonstrated networking skills including capacity to develop new contacts
8. Outgoing personality, ability to work individually and as part of a team
Contract Conditions:
Position: Media Officer
Functional Group: C
Commencement Salary: 42,480 – 45,268 Baht
Department: DFAT
Date of Commencement: 1 October 2008
Date of Termination: 31 March 2011
Employment Period: Two Years and Six Months
Probationary Period: Three months
Place of Work: Australian Embassy Bangkok
