Inaugural Thai – Australian Research Symposium
“Research – a Basis for Social Development”
The Australian Embassy through Australian Education International (AEI) Thailand, in cooperation with the Ministry of Science and Technology (MOST), the Commission on Higher Education (CHE), the National Research Council of Thailand (NRCT), and The Thailand Research Fund (TRF) is holding its Inaugural Thai - Australian Research Symposium.
“Research – a Basis for Social Development” has been chosen as the theme of the event, to encapsulate the broad roles of research in development of societies throughout the world. It is hoped that this event will provide a focus for the role of research in development of Australian and Thai societies, and assist in building relationships between Australian and Thai research, science and technology institutions.
This special event is a unique opportunity to meet with leading Thai and Australian researchers, scientists and educators, listen to presentations on topics of interest to Thai researchers, be involved in panel sessions in which the audience is encouraged to contribute, and make contact with representatives of key Thai and Australian institutions at the early evening social event.
Presentations: 6 Australian leading researchers and Thai counterparts discuss topics including:
- Stem Cell Research,
- Water Resource Management,
- Renewable Energy and Photovoltaics,
