AUSTRALIAN BUSINESS EXPERTISE AVAILABLE TO THAI COMPANIES AT FREE SHOWCASE
Australian Trade Commission organises first corporate training and consultancy event
Thai businesses wanting to enhance staff competency and productivity will have an exclusive opportunity to learn from leading Australian corporate trainers and business consultants at a FREE professional development seminar series to be held in Bangkok from 28 to 30 March.
The Australian Corporate Training and Business Consultancy Showcase (ACTS 2007) is a first-of-its-kind event organised by the Australian Trade Commission. It offers local companies and human resources, corporate training or business consultancy professionals the chance to meet 20 of Australia’s top corporate trainers and business consultants all under one roof.
Participants will learn about the latest trends in corporate training and business consultancy in Australia and how these apply to their organisations. They will have an opportunity to network, develop international exposure and have one-on-one sessions with the Australian consultants and trainers.
According to the Australian Trade Commission’s Bangkok-based Senior Trade Commissioner, Sean Riley rising demands for skilled workers and intense international competition have increased the need for skills training and human resource development in Thailand.
“This premier event (ACTS 2007) was developed specifically to suit the business needs of progressive local companies and Thailand-based multi-nationals wanting to learn about international best practices,” Sean Riley said.
ACTS 2007 will feature a free Professional Development Seminar on 28 March, which is open to human resource executives and key decision makers from local companies. On 29th and 30th March, participants can meet the Australian consultants face-to-face for consultation and further information on their service packages.
The Australian Trade Commission’s Business Development Manager, Khun Navin Pawa said, “We’ve created a professional and discreet environment for local companies to freely discuss their business needs with the Australian industry experts, and make the most of this unique opportunity.”
Managing Director of JobsDB (Thailand) Khun Satinee Mokaves said, “We’ve found more and more Thai companies want to improve their productivity and enhance their human capital. This is a great chance for us to contribute to their development and expand our business in Thailand at the same time”.
ACTS 2007 is an exclusive event with limited participation. Registrations close on 26 March. For further information or to register please contact Khun Navin Pawa on (02)344-6322 or e-mail navin@austrade.gov.au
