Meinhardt’s office in Thailand was formally set up in 1991 and established with a clear objective to provide international quality consulting engineering services in the local market. Meinhardt (Thailand) worked on the mechanical, electrical and sanitary design services for the 10,000sqm Siam Ocean World Aquarium. Meinhardt was also responsible for the Civil, Structural, Mechanical and Sanitary Engineering design of the new Pepsi Bottling Facility in Surat Thani – showing how local suppliers can meet the demands of global clients and enhance the investment climate for Thailand as a whole.

HASSELL works across priority market sectors such as the residential property sector the hospitality sector, commercial projects and planning having recently won both the North Kamala Beach Feasibility Master Plan and the Mai Khao Beach Feasibility Master Plan in Phuket.

BlueScope Lysaght (Thailand) Limited

BlueScope Lysaght (Thailand) Limited won the contract to supply the Suvarnabhumi project with a range of building solutions. BlueScope Lysaght Thailand supplied steel (3W-DEK ®) for the 4th floor of the Passenger Area. These trademark support structures are a strong feature in the building. Bluescope Lysaght are also working with Sino Thai on the Bangkok Airport Light Rail, providing the roofing system for all stations, including the impressive terminal being constructed. This year Bluescope Lysaght celebrates 20 years in Thailand via their joint venture with the Loxley Public Company.

L-TAG Technologies

Australia-Loxely partnership L-TAG Technologies is specifically targeting Australian technology for the construction industry that is demonstrably “green” and has just finalised an exclusive arrangement with an Australian knowledge base of well over 3500 environmentally preferable products, materials, technologies and resources, all having certified green rating.

Suvanabhumi airport – Australian input examples

EarthTech Australia - At the early stage of development, EarthTech Australia was awarded to provide sustainable design initiatives for the terminal facility.

Chadwick Group Holdings Pty Ltd designed, manufactured, supplied and installed the main terminal roof with total area of 95,000 m2 valued at AUD$90 Million.

Arcus Australia Pty Ltd - Under the great roof of the Suvarnabhumi airport, Arcus Australia Pty Ltd provided 37,000 kg of stainless steel Dyform® strand assemblies + 19,000 kg of stainless steel fittings for the large truss supported glass structure.

Meihhardt was awarded the contract to design and oversee the construction of the LSG Skychefs Flight Kitchens with 11,000 m2 square of floor space.

Woodhead International- Within the terminal complex, Woodhead International has been contracted for the master planning, architecture and retail design fit out for the entire retailing complex – over 500,000 m2.
