About the Australian Education Centre in Thailand (AEC)
In Thailand, the Australian Education Centre:
• provides information and advice for students and parents (opening hours: Monday to Friday 0800-1700 hr, counselling hours: Monday, Wednesday, Friday 1300 - 1700);
• conducts free seminars on a regular basis
• operates a Thai-language and English-language web site about studying in Australia (http://www.studyinaustralia.gov.au or http://studyinaustralia.gov.au/thailand);
• undertakes generic marketing to raise the profile of Australia as a study destination through a number of activities including presentation on Australian education system to schools and universities in Thailand, spelling competition, essay competition, seminar on various topics, high profile alumni articles, and workshops and exhibitions;
• conducts interview programs for Australian education and training providers; and
• works closely with education agents.
